What a night! We proudly present our second CD!
Those who know us also knew it: the 3rd of February was scheduled to officially present our new CD “Shadow of Stars 2” recorded in Merano, with the professional and patient help of the sunny Konrad Plaikner (Rekon Studio Merano).
where else could we plan to celebrate? The market garden Schullian on the way to Merano seemed perfect as well as for the beautiful flowers as for the location. It was a flower – scented dream in a Garden Eden – or in Oz, as you prefer ;-)
Everybody was there: friends, family, authorities, politicians, newbies – and many previous choir members who had chosen new ways in the meantime, but came back to celebrate with us. Thanks, guys and dolls! We appreciated and were happy to meet you again! Through the evening led the funny and sunny Maria Abram, who balanced on high heels between surprising interviews, choreographies and new scenic accessoires through the songs performed by the showchoir, in the company of two beauties in tailcoat, top hat and bow tie who sold CD’s stepping through the audience in their very charming way – Thanks Ladies!
The CD “Shadow of Stars 2” itself is an interesting mix of evergreens and latin-american songs, as well as Jazz & Blues sung a cappella (only exception: Georgia on my mind, with Livia Bertagnolli at the piano).
It goes for itself that an event like this does not build itself and there’s hard work behind it, so here I want to thank everybody who did this hard work, the singers of the showchoir themselves, but also future singers, family members and friends.
Thanks to our sound director, who was very precious for our recording rehearsals, created the enjoyable spots for the presentation and is always there to find the proper solution for each problem, smiling and never loosing his temper. Thanks Riccardo, we love you! Thanks to the 4 singers who recorded the spots
Thanks to the organization team, to the singers who helped without exception with the flowers, the food, the look of the place (and not to be forgotten our afternoons and evenings in Merano, in the recording studio with lovely Konrad smiling at us and giving us faith and self-consciousness), the invitations and all small aids without which this evening would never have had the flair and success it had.

And, last but not least, our two omnipresent ones: Konrad Plaikner and Lucia Targa, always there durino the recordings, with a good word for everybody and Maria Abram, who managed to lead through the evening with her charm, making a “gag” out of an technical problem with the lights as well. That’s professionality!
